Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her long-standing presence in the demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as an actor. Her career began as a fashion model in the year 1970 her rise quickly to prominence. After studying acting Russo embarked on a career as a model working in Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on TV on ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. Two years later, she was Tom Berengers lover in Major League. The critics, initially unconvinced by her acting skills but eventually redeemed themselves when they saw her constant performance. Her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was a favorite of critics, as she stood in the way of Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. She claims that she never had a passion for acting. In 2005 she went on a self-imposed hiatus. After a long break, she came back to the screen in Thor. The Oscar-winning movie of her husband Nightcrawler was one of her performances. The Intern followed, as did Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes in the UFC. Her journey began in the amateur ranks, participating in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas has become a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas' family is Lithuanian as was her birthplace on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose played basketball as well as kickboxing when she was growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships gave her her professional debut at 18, when she defeated two opponents. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to join the UFC the strawweight division at the age of 22 years old. Rose has had highs and she's also experienced lows throughout her career but always came in the end on winning. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by an technical knockout that took less than three minutes of the Round One. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA history by winning this fight since she was the first woman to challenge in a title fight within an organization that is a major one. Namajunas was able to record many other victories, including 2 victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
