Andrea Anders

Anders, who was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She graduated in 1993 from DeForest Area High School in DeForest Wisconsin. Then in 1997, she graduated with a bachelor of Arts at The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders had a relationship with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until the year 2015. The two met on the sets of Joey the sitcom that was cancelled. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her brother. Anders began working in theatres beginning in 2001. She was a student of Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Alongside On the Jump, New Doors in the Guthrie Theater as well as New World Rhapsody, she has also performed on the Arena Stage in On the Jump, New Doors, at the Guthrie Theater. Anders made her debut in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse production. She was the character Jeannie who was an accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st of 2007. Anders first appearance on television was in the Dannon advertisement which ran through the middle of the 1990s. She then appeared again around the year 2006. Anders' most famous characters include Nicole Allen, a former husband of a professional footballer, in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Anders appeared in each episode of both series, but neither was renewed. Anders made guest appearances on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes of the HBO the drama Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, she also made a small appearance in the film The Stepford Wives, playing the part of Heather, and the 2008 movie Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders also appeared as Brandy in the 2008 movie Sex Drive. Anders was a part of two TV pilots which did not succeed. They included Spellbound and News To Me. Anders has been cast most recently for Better Off Ted. It is an ABC single camera comedy that focuses on workplaces created by Victor Fresco.
